Education and past experiences

He got his Laurea in Economics at the University Carlo Cattaneo (Castellanza, Italy) in 2001. In 2005 he got his PhD at Politecnico di Milano (Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering), debating his thesis on PLM, in co-tutorship with the French University of Nancy (Centre de Recherche en Automatique de Nancy).
Since 2005, he is researcher and lecturer at University of Bergamo, where he teaches operations management and plant design. He is also lecturer at Politecnico di Milano, in the PLM course and within several Master programs. In 2008, he was visiting professor at University of Lyon II, LIESP Laboratories.
In the last 8 years, he collaborated in many research activities and projects, at national and international level. He is author of more than 50 papers in the field of operations and product lifecycle management and he has organised a list of international conferences and workshops. He is one of the founders of the first Italian association on PLM (PLMentor.it) and of the International Working Group on PLM (PLM-IWG). He is member of the IFIP Working Group 5.7.
