The “Cluster Tecnologico Nazionale Fabbrica Intelligente (CTNFI)” presented to MIUR 4 projects with the purpose of developing industrial research activities and connected activities of training for researchers.
The third project, entitled Smart Manufacturing, aims to apply new digital technologies in support of manufacturing, in order to make manufacturing companies more competitive, productive and responsive to market requirements. It also intends to introduce improvements in products, services and methods of production thanks to ICT technologies, to provide the best efficiency and quality.
CELS collaborates in Smart Manufacturing projects in the research of solutions for single piece traceability of products from System Division of Brembo SpA, also through the evaluation of introducing new technologies, such as RFID.
