Bringing projects on time and on budget is always a challenge. With the competing demands for labour and capital, projects have many internal and external forces that can contribute to a derailment. It takes a strong sense of direction, efficiency and leadership to keep the project on track.
In such a context this project aims at developing three aspects of the Project Management which have to be optimized to achieve a successful project in the Service industry:
- people, proposing and monitoring an action plan to develop the Project Management Community;
- organization and processes, increasing efficiency and optimizing the use of resources, by means of process standardization and best practice definition;
- risk, identifying a managerial approach to monitor and allocate resources in large and critical projects.
